Child among injured as 'gangster' shoots at least three people outside Lille metro
A SHOOTING has left several people, including a child, injured in Lille, France, this evening.

Armed police have rushed to the scene, located near Porte d'Arras metro station in the south of the city.
The shots are believed to have fired at Jacques Febvrier square, a few metres from the metro station, according to reports.
Witnesses reported at least three injuries, including a boy, thought to be aged 14.
The 14-year-old boy is believed to have been shot in the leg and another is said to have received neck injuries, say local media.
Two of the wounded were found at the scene, while the third made their way to a nearby hospital.
A police source said: “The attack was in place Jacques Febvrier, next to the Porte d’Arras metro station. Officers remain at the scene.
“Those hurt have been taken to the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul hospital. None of the injuries are life-threatening.”
The wounded are reported to have been shot several times, according to French news outlet La Voix.
The motives behind the shooting are not yet known.
The shooter is still reported to be on the loose, according to reports from local media.

The shooting, which is believed to be a gang-related incident, provoked terror scares because of its close proximity to a metro station.
Anti-terror officers were dispatched to the scene, however, local reports suggest the shooter was "settling accounts".
