Protesters launch ATTACK on French Front National convoy on way to Marine Le Pen rally
PROTESTERS blocked a convoy and launched paint at a bus of Front National supporters on their way to a rally hosted by Marine Le Pen in the French city of Nantes.

Pictures on Twitter show a bus with its windshield covered in paint and a pile of tyres blocking a road.
And shocking video shows a gang of black-clad troublemakers surrounding the bus as its terrified occupants cowered inside.
Front National local councillor Emeric Salmon said on Twitter: “Bus attacked by our lefty friends."

The convoy reportedly needed a police escort following the incident
Mentioning the Twitter account of leader of the party Marine Le Pen, he added: “Sickening. This France must be brought back to order, and quickly.”
And one of the coach drivers, Alda Pereira, told local media: “They threw paint as you can see, and they damaged the coach, pulling out the wiper blades.”

The outburst of violence caused major blockages and tailbacks on the road to the city of Rennes.
The passengers of the busses were on their way to a rally at the Zenith in Nantes to see Le Pen.

The Front National mayor for the council of Frejus, in southern France, hit out at the French government for its lack of action following the attack.
David Rachline said on Twitter: “Where is the ministry of the interior to let those blocked by the leftist militants get to the Zenith?”
Police were reportedly forced to escort the convoy after the assault.
The rally saw sporadic outbreaks of violence in the city in north-eastern France.
