‘I wouldn’t vote for her’ Farage SAVAGES Merkel & predicts BIG SHIFT in European politics
NIGEL Farage could have dented Angela Merkel’s chances at the upcoming elections in Germany after he declared he would not vote for the Chancellor.
Farage SLAMS Merkel's open borders policy
Savaging the leader of the Christian Democratic Party in an interview with DW, the former UKIP frontman lashed out over the controversial immigration policies in Germany.
He also criticised the Brussels bloc for its free movement deal, citing the Berlin Christmas market attack after suspect Anis Amri was able to travel through three countries by train before being shot dead by police.
The firebrand politician also predicted a “big shift” in European politics this year, claiming he was “terribly excited” for what was to come.

Angela Merkel will face re-election this year
He said: “Well, I wouldn't vote for Angela Merkel, that's the first piece of advice I'd give.
“I mean, look at the catastrophic errors she made: opening up the doors to so-called refugees, it turned out that 70 percent of them were young males, economic migrants.
“No vetting, no security checks on a single one of them, and all of this in a regime within Europe - that she has been the biggest supporter of - where a man can drive a truck into a Christmas market in Berlin.

The rebirth of the concept of a nation state that democratically runs itself, makes its own rules and controls its own borders.
“And because she's given up border controls, the most wanted man in Europe if not the world is able to catch a train to France, and then to Italy, without anyone checking who he is.
“So I think - we're looking at German elections, we're looking at Dutch elections, French elections and before too long there will be Italian elections too.
“I think there's going to be a big shift in European politics this year.”
When asked if he thought the “end of globalisation” was near, the Brexit champion revealed his excitement over the rising wave of populist politics.
He said: “Well, what I see isn't the end of something, it's the rebirth of something.
“The rebirth of the concept of a nation state that democratically runs itself, makes its own rules and controls its own borders.
“We're actually going back to normality, we're going back to common sense. I feel terribly excited about it.”
Marine le Pen and Geert Wilders will also face election this year
Farage SLAMS May for not showing support to Le Pen
But Nigel Farage, who played a key role in the "Leave" campaign, also hit out at prime minister Theresa May over her plans for Brexit.
Despite praising her “wonderful speeches” and saying “it all sounds marvellous”, he blasted the Conservative leader for not being any further forward with negotiations eight months after the vote.
He concluded: “I hope she holds faith with the British people. If she doesn't, they are going to be very angry.”
Mr Farage quit his role as leader of UKIP last year following the vote, declaring his British political mission of more than 20 years was accomplished.
His comments come as replacement leader Paul Nuttall faces calls to resign following his failure to secure a seat in the Stoke Central by-election on Thursday.
