'He's the Streep of having thin skin'- Meyers jibes Trump
Seth Meyers ripped the billionaire apart on his 'Late Night' show in which he branded the President-elect as a “narcissist”.
The comedian picked up on Mr Trump’s labelling of Meryl Streep as “over-rated” after she criticised him during her speech after accepting the Cecile B. DeMile Award at the Golden Globes.
In her speech on Sunday, the actress criticised the billionaire for mocking a disabled journalist before urging the media to keep a close watch on him.
She said: “We need the principled press to hold power to account, to call him on the carpet for every outrage”.

Whether these tweets are calculated distractions or just the ramblings of an unhinged narcissist
Mr Trump responded the morning after to the actresses comments with a couple of tweets in which he called her “over-rated” before he made a quick jibe about her supporting Hillary.
This outraged Mr Meyers who ridiculed the incoming President about his priorities when it came to tweeting out.
He said: “Overrated? She’s so good, people use her to compliment people in other professions.
“Like LeBron James is the Meryl Streep of basketball, or Donald Trump is the Meryl Streep of having thin skin.”

Mr Meyers continued using his ‘A Closer Look’ segment on his show to address more of Mr Trumps tweets.
The host then blasted the President-elect as he mocked him over a range of his tweets.
He said: “Whether these tweets are calculated distractions or just the ramblings of an unhinged narcissist.
“It’s clear Trump would much rather talk about his feud with Meryl Streep than say the fact that intelligence officials believe Russia hacked the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign to help Trump win the election”.
