Europe must 'de-Islamise' in the wake of Berlin terror attack, claims Geert Wilders
THE "entire political elite" is to blame for the wave of Islamic State (ISIS) terror attacks across Europe, a Dutch MP has claimed.
Geert Wilders blamed the 'political elite' for the Berlin terror attack
Speaking in the wake of the Berlin terror attack, Geert Wilders attacked "politically correct" European leaders including Angela Merkel.
And he controversially called for the "de-Islamification" of the continent to stop further ISIS massacres.
Wilders, the head of the far-right Party for Freedom, said: "Let no-one tell you that only the perpetrators of these crimes are to blame.
They have deliberately turned a blind eye to Islam
"The politicians, who welcomed Islam into their country, are guilty as well.
"And it is not just Frau Merkel in Germany, it is the entire political elite in Western Europe.
"Out of political-correctness, they have deliberately turned a blind eye to Islam."

The Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the attack
Speaking to Breitbart, Wilders said European countries need to "de-Islamise" to create a "safer society for ourselves and our children".
He added: "It all begins with politicians with the courage to face and speak the truth.
"More and more citizens are aware of that. This is why a political revolution is brewing in Europe."

His comments come as German police ramp up their hunt for the suspect behind the Berlin attack, in which 12 people died.
Anis Amri, 23, arrived in Germany last year but officials failed to deport him when his asylum application was rejected.
He has previous convictions in both Tunisia – his birthplace – and Italy.
