A SYRIAN refugee has said women are to blame for the sickening migrant sex attacks that rocked Germany over last year's New Year’s Eve celebrations.

Aras Bachot, who has been living in Germany for five years, said women should not be out alone at night.
The 18-year-old blogger says he “fights for equality” in his bio on the German Huffington Post.
His controversial comments are likely to cause outrage after more than 500 women reported being sexually assaulted, raped and robbed after more than 1,000 migrants went on the rampage in Cologne on New Year's Eve in a night of horror.

He posted on Twitter: “Most of the time women are to blame. To be alone at night. On the other hand, the refugees should behave,” with the hashtag “#Silvester”, which means New Year’s in German.
The tweet sparked an angry backlash on the social media site, with some branding his comments as “dangerous”.
Another Twitter user hit back, writing: “In this country, women have the right to be alone at night! Migrants have a duty to behave!”
Aras Bacho's tweet caused outrage on Twitter
The sickening attacks led to the criticism of German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s ill-fated open door refugee policy.
Mr Bacho writes for the Huffington Post in Germany.
He was born in Syria and has been living in Germany for the past five years, according to his bio on the news website.
