Footage released of the tunnels previously revealed the fighters were living with electricity, running water, televisions and enough supplies to live for months underground.
Chinese camera crews allowed access to the network with Iraqi forces revealed how the militants had organised the tunnels into bedrooms, kitchens and even spaces for reading.

Lise Grande, the UN humanitarian coordinator for Iraq, said it was possible that crazed ISIS fighters who have controlled Mosul would resort to “rudimentary chemical weapons” to hold back the impending attack from coalition forces.
ISIS jihadis have killed nine of the terror cult’s own members by submerging them in trenches filled with burning oil amidst the ongoing siege.
