INTERNET activism group Anonymous have accused a top Silicon Valley company of helping ISIS.
Anonymous have said CloudFlare are helping ISIS
The hacktivists say CloudFlare are protecting the Islamic State’s websites by helping prevent their sites being flooded in Denial of Service attacks.
In a statement on Twitter, Anonymous said CloudFlare’s work was ‘shameful’.

The group posted: “Once again, @CloudFlare have been found to be providing services to pro-#IslamicState websites. Shameful. #OpISIS #Daesh #Anonymous.”

CloudFlare helps collect a large amount of internet traffic that would normally help take small sites offline, and has been described as being ‘like a huge sponge’.
And it has hit back at Anonymous, who have previously pledged to take ISIS off the internet.

Cloudflare’s CEO Matthew Prince accused Anonymous of being hypocrites.
He said: “"I did see a Twitter handle said that they were mad at us.
"I'd suggest this was armchair analysis by kids – it's hard to take seriously. Anonymous uses us for some of its sites, despite pressure from some quarters for us to take Anonymous sites offline."

And Mr Prince said that he’d prefer to listen to advice from the US State Departments and police rather than from a Twitter user.
He said: “"Even if we were hosting sites for ISIS, it wouldn't be of any use to us.
“I should imagine those kinds of people pay with stolen credit cards and so that's a negative for us."
