Tokyo knife attack: At least 10 injured in commuter train stabbing in Olympics host city
AT LEAST ten people have been stabbed and two seriously injured in a knife attack in Tokyo.

The incident took place on Friday at about 8.30pm local time (12.30pm UK time) on a commuter train and left one woman with multiple stab wounds in her back and chest. The other victims sustained non life threatening injuries, according to local media Kyodo News.
They were rushed to the hospital, while one was well enough to walk away, according to authorities.
The police seized the man as he attempted to run from the scene.
The train was between Seijogakuen-mae station and Soshigaya-Okura station in the capital's Setagaya Ward when the incident happened.
Fire department officials said all of the victims were conscious.

Dozens of paramedics and police were on the scene.
The police have refused to comment further and there are no more details available at present.
Violent crime is not common in Tokyo and security has been on high alert during the Olympics.

The incident took place a few miles from the Olympic stadium where the 2020 Tokyo Olympics wrap up this Sunday.
Team GB has recently jumped to fourth place in the medal table following Friday's success.
Britain now has 58 total medals, with 18 gold medals.
