The 16-year-old climate change activist became the youngest person to be given the award after inspiring a global movement for climate change. Last year, Greta started protesting outside the Swedish parliament building which then sparked a worldwide movement.
Since then she has become a leading voice for the movement.
Trump labelled the decision to give the 16-year-old the accolade as “ridiculous” while asking her to get “anger management”.
In a tweet today, Trump added: “So ridiculous.
“Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!”
Using Trump’s remarks against him, Greta then updated her own Twitter profile to include his advice.
In her new Twitter biography, she wrote: “A teenager working on her anger management problem.
“Currently chilling and watching a good old fashioned movie with a friend.”
Ahead of Greta winning the award, both Trump and Nancy Pelosi had also been shortlisted.

Tweeting to the activist, he said: “Perfect way to respond.
“Greta Thunberg seems a lot more resilient than her snowflake supporters who go nuts every time she gets teased or criticised.”
