Trump says US ‘still paying price’ for Obama letting Germany ‘take everything’
DONALD TRUMP has slammed Barack Obama for allowing Germany to "take everything" and vowed to represent the US better than his predecessor.

President Trump lambasted Obama over his previous trade relationship with Germany, saying "Obama gave the ship away". Mr Trump also declared his love for Germany but reiterated that the country was previously given things that he would never have given away.
President Trump said: "I say it often, in Germany they like Obama because Obama gave the ship away.
"He allowed them to take everything.
"He gave them things that I wouldn’t do.
"I love Germany.

"I love this country.
"I love a lot of countries but I am representing the US."
He continued: "So they may not like me because I am representing us.
"I represent us strong.

"President Obama did not represent us strong, he gave everything away and he shouldn’t have done that.
"That is why we’re still paying a price for what he did."
Earlier this week French President Emmanuel Macron declared that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization is experiencing “brain death.”
The US President said he was "very surprised" by the remarks.

Mr Trump stated: "It is a very, very nasty statement. I think they have a very high unemployment rate in France.
“France is not doing well economically at all. It is a very tough statement to make when you have such difficulty in France when you look at what is going on with the yellow vests.
"They have had a very rough year. You just can't go around making statements like that about Nato.
“It is very disrespectful."
