Hotel’s luxury pool turns out to be a fake
A BRITISH holidaymaker managed to see the funny side after she discovered her hotel’s luxury infinity pool looked more like a trough filled with murky pond water.
The flattering angle of the pool on the Booking.com site makes it appear invitingly massive
Jenny Kershaw from Manchester, tweeted a photo from the Booking. com page of the Mari Gold Hotel & Apartment in Vietnam showing a stunning blue swimming pool against a sunny sky.
Alongside the glamorous snap she shared a photo of the reality – a tiny hot tub.
The angle of the promotional photo makes the “pool” appear far more impressive than it actually is.

Thankfully, Ms Kershaw saw the funny side and wrote: “Our hotel pool in Vietnam… booking.com vs reality… We’ve been done here”.
The hilarious comparison photo has had social media users in stitches since it was posted last Saturday – so far it has received over 150,000 likes.
With the tweet going viral the travel company got in contact with Ms Kershaw on Twitter, asking if she would like to make a formal complaint but she declined.
Booking.com said the company has over 150 million verified reviews customers can consult to get “an authentic impression of the actual experience” at each hotel.
