A new hotel is taking advantage of the nature around it to change the way in which travellers can stay.
During the summer the new Arctic Bath hotel will float on a river.
Yet come the winter, it will freeze into place for holidaymakers heading to the region for a Christmas break.
It even has a bath in the centre of the complex heated to a balmy four degrees for those still wanting to swim inside
The hotel will sit on top of the Lule River in northern Sweden.
Popular with kayakers, the slow pace of the river makes it perfect for the hotel to sit upon.
As winter rolls around, the river then freezes which will allow the hotel to be static during the colder months.
It even has a bath in the centre of the complex heated to a balmy four degrees for those still wanting to swim inside.
The new hotel will boast a spa and sauna, as well as a private bath heated to four degrees in winter
Along with a spa and sauna, travellers can also go on the top decks in search of the Northern Lights.
The minimalist cabins are certainly in-keeping with chic Swedish designs.
Set to open this year, it is another trend of ever-changing hotel options.
