'No, I've answered his question!' Tory peer STUNS Remainer Adonis in HUGE Lords Brexit row
A HUGE debate erupted in the House of Lords yesterday as Remainer Lord Adonis repeatedly interrupted a Conservative peer during his speech in the chamber.
Lord Adonis REPEATEDLY interrupts Lord Callanan during bill reading
Lord Callanan, a minister for the Department for Exiting the European Union, snapped at arch-Remainer Lord Adonis for interrupting him during the Brexit discussion.
The Conservative peer was delivering his speech when Lord Adonis stood up and asked for the Tory to give way.
Lord Callanan said: “No, I’ve given way to him once, I’ve answered his question, I have referred to his point.
“If the noble Lord will forgive me I will make some progress.”

Jeers were heard on the benches opposite forcing the Brexit minister to try to silence them once more.
He said: “No, I have answered his question.”
Baroness Goldie was forced to intervene before demanding “silence” in the chamber before addressing peers.
The huge row began during the Lord’s debate over the Government’s EU withdrawal bill.

Conservative peer Douglas Hogg also warned he would do all he could to try to keep the UK tied to the customs union.
He said: “It is the business of Parliament to form a judgment and we must not shunter behind constitutional niceties in order to refrain from doing our duty.
"I will certainly do whatever I can to ensure that we remain as close as possible to a customs union, and if I could I would also frustrate the policy of Brexit."
The comments came
