'It was like GLASTONBURY' LBC caller savages 'God-like' Corbyn over conference 'festival'
A FRUSTRATED radio caller berated Jeremy Corbyn and his young followers for treating the Labour leader “like a God” in a savage swipe at the party’s conference.
LBC caller: Corbyn is like a God to young people
Tory Brexiteer Den, 20, took aim at the politician and his supporters after he delivered a rousing speech in Brighton, which he likened to the Glastonbury music festival – at which Mr Corbyn made an appearance this year.
Speaking to former Ukip leader Nigel Farage on his LBC show, the caller insisted the Islington North MP was “absolutely not” ready to lead the country.
Mr Farage asked: “What is it with your age bracket, why do they think Corbyn is so great? Is he really this cool figure?”
Den quipped: “He’s like a God to them, to be honest with you, it’s like today – it was like a festival rather than a party conference, it was like Glastonbury or something.”

The young caller rubbished Mr Corbyn’s policies as he questioned “where he’s going to find the money from”.
He added: “I don’t think he’s got any principles whatsoever.”
Den said he felt the Labour leader wanted to “take years and years and years” to implement Brexit during the passionate rant.
Mr Farage probed once more on why some young people backed Mr Corbyn, giving the example of one of his friend’s nightclubs being filled with youngsters singing “oh Jeremy Corbyn” following the snap election.

“Why? What is it they see Den?” the Brexit campaigner asked.
Den said the Conservative party was seen as “dull” but insisted he could “see through” the Labour party.
He said: “In their eyes, they’re seeing a Conservative Government which is really dull, it’s like having a roast dinner without the gravy at the moment.
“I just don’t think they’re sensible, to me just see through it, they’re just saying things to be popular.”
The comments come after Mr Corbyn received a euphoric reaction from supporters after he told them his party was a “government in waiting”.
Labour supporters sang Mr Corbyn’s name as he declared Labour was "on the threshold of power”.
