'Let's try AGAIN...' Nigel Farage rips apart LBC caller branding Brexit campaign 'racist'
NIGEL Farage has ripped into a radio caller after he accused the Brexiteer of “setting up a platform to stir up racism”.
Nigel Farage hits back at caller who claims Brexit is racist
LBC caller Phil blasted Ukip and the party’s former leader during his radio show after Nigel Farage hailed leaked Government papers revealing Britain would scrap the European Union’s free movement of labour policies the moment it leaves the Brussels bloc.
But Mr Farage scolded the caller after he said Ukip had put the housing crisis and issues of unemployment down to immigration.
Mr Farage asked: “Phil, do you think there is a link between a housing shortage and higher house prices and very long waits for social housing and immigration?”
Phil replied: “No, I think there’s a link between what you started running – and I think you were very successful to get out of the EU – but you set up a platform to stir up racism.”

Let’s try one more time shall we? Because we’re supposed to be having a civil conversation
The conversation became even more heated as Mr Farage probed further.
Before repeating his initial question, Mr Farage said: “Alright, I’ll tell you what Phil, let’s try one more time, shall we? Because we’re supposed to be having a civil conversation.”
The caller then admitted there was a “small link” between and immigration and the issues raised.
Mr Farage hit back said: “So the fact we have to build – and by the way these figures are out of date it may be even more extreme – a new dwelling every four minutes in this country just to cope with current levels of immigration, do you not think that’s a valid argument?”

Phill said he felt Mr Farage did not want to listen to his point.
But the politician continued: “Oh no, I’m listening very very carefully Phil but what’s interesting is that you’re saying to me that making a link between immigration, housing, low wages, lack of access to a GP, you’re arguing to me that anyone that makes these arguments is necessarily racist.”
The caller insisted he was “not saying that” but blasted the Government over the housing crisis, citing a “lack of investment”.
Mr Farage rubbished the claim before insisting his party was an inclusive one with “a complete cross-section of Britain involved”.
