‘Leave now and then tell EU how Brexit will work!’ MEP urges UK to stop 'begging' Brussels
A BREXITEER MEP has ripped into David Davis for capitulating to the demands of the bigwigs in Brussels, before claiming that UK has been reduced to a beggar in the Brexit talks.
UKIP MEP: We should stop 'BEGGING EU' and just 'LEAVE'
Gerard Batten, who is the Brexit spokesman for Ukip, derided British officials for their "obedience" to Brussels during the ongoing Brexit talks.
The latest round of Brexit talks ended this week with Michel Barnier, the EU's chief Brexit negotiator, attacking the lack of "decisive progress" so far.
The fractious negotiations have hit a stumbling block over settling the controversial divorce bill.
Speaking to RT, Mr Batten said the British people were "fed up" with the British Government bending to the will of the EU, before offering a radical solution to deadlock.

He said: "It is exactly as I predicted - 14 months have passed since the referendum and nothing has happened.
"We are going to the EU and saying 'Oh please sir how may we leave?'
"And they don’t want us to leave so why would they negotiate with us in a meaningful manner?"
The MEP for London urged Britain to leave the EU imminently, which he said would make Brussels the groveling party in the talks.

We should leave then explain to them how it will work
Mr Batten explained: "We should leave then explain to them how it will work.
"They would accept we would make because they wouldn’t have alternatives, we would make them an offer they couldn’t refuse."
However, the MEP added that he did not have much hope for David Davis and his team to change their approach.
He said: "I can’t see a prospect of anything happening.
"The quislings in the British Parliament are waiting to find a way to overturn this, so the EU will just wait and buy time until that."
