'We will have NO control' Gove savages Chukka Umunna over single market obsession
CHUKKA Umunna was left stunned as Michael Gove took the Remainer to task over his obsession of the single market and handing over more cash to Jean-Claude Juncker.

Michael Gove laid into Chukka Umunna's soft Brexit plan for Britain as tone-deaf and a complete reversal of the EU referendum result.
During a heated spat on Radio 4, the Tory MP said if the policy pamphlet was enacted, Britain would become hostage in negotiations with the EU.
This comes after Mr Umunna broke ranks with the Labour Party on Brexit with a demand to stay in the EU single market in a newly released policy pamphlet.
When the Labour MP tried to claim that Brexit will leave Britain poorer, Mr Gove hit back and said that his single market dream would force Britain to hand over millions to the EU.

Chukka Umunna, who leads the Vote Leave Watch, said that Britain can stay in the single market at the same time as the country reforms immigration laws.
Mr Umunna heads a group of 16 London Labour candidates that are campaigning for single market membership - contrary to Jeremy Corbyn's proposed plans.
He told the BBC: "From the point of view of London, where over 600,000 are linked to the single market, and whether you voted to Remain or Leave, you did not vote to be poorer.
"Our membership of the single market was not on the ballot in the referendum campaign."
But Mr Gove scoffed at this idea, claiming that the EU would never let Britain change immigration laws and keep single market access.
He pointed out that if Britain stuck to the single market, the country will have "no control over who comes here, no control over our laws, and we will continue to pay into the EU".
The Tory Brexiteer added: "Brexit was won on migration, trade and laws. Chukka wants to revisit the referendum and turn the clock back."

The former shadow business secretary dodged these challenges and changed the topic to the stability of the union during Brexit.
He said Brexit talks will exacerbate independence movements in Scotland and Northern Ireland and escalate tensions in Gibraltar.
But the prominent Brexiteer mocked this and said that Labour's failure in sticking up for the union was evident in Scotland.
Mr Gove said that Scottish Tories were the sole voice for the union there and the only real opposition to Nicola Sturgeon's SNP.

Theresa May has said leaving the single market would restore control over immigration, which appeals to many traditional Labour voters outside London and some trade unionists.
Critics have accused Mr Corbyn of keeping Labour's position on the single market deliberately vague, as seen in the leaked manifesto.
The manifesto reveals a key target will be "retaining the benefits of the single market and the customs union — which are essential for maintaining industries, jobs and businesses in Britain".
