London terror: Cities around the world show solidarity with the capital following horror
CITIES around the world have shown their solidarity with London by lighting monuments in the colours of the Union flag, following the terrorist attack.

Tel Aviv turned their city hall red, white and blue on one side, with the Israeli flag on the other.
England’s second largest city, Birmingham, has shown unity by lighting their library in the colours of the Union flag.

Councillor John Clancy, who is the Leader of Birmingham City Council, tweeted: “The @LibraryofBham lit to show Birmingham's solidarity with London. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by today's #Westminster attack.”
Big Ben has been illuminated in red in tribute to the victims of the attack.
In Paris the Eiffel Tower was turned off at midnight in tribute to the victims of the atrocity.
Anne Hidalgo, mayor of Paris, whose city has suffered deadly extremist attacks in recent years, announced that the tower is turning off its twinkling lights at midnight.

Hidalgo had earlier expressed her "solidarity" in a message to her London counterpart Sadiq Khan, adding: "Paris and London have very close links which have become stronger in the last few decades."
She said the two capitals "share a common love of freedom and an attachment to democracy" and were "tolerant and cosmopolitan cities, open to the world".
Trump reacts to news of London attack
Three French teenagers on a school trip were among those injured in Wednesday's attack targeting pedestrians and a police officer.
Their teacher told the Telegraph: “Three of us were hit, we don’t know if they are dead or not. I cannot speak anymore, I don’t know what to say.”
A spokesman for the French foreign ministry confirmed that the three injured pupils are from the Saint-Joseph high school in Concarneau, Brittany.
Four people died and at least 20 were injured after a knife-wielding terrorist drove a car into pedestrians before he attacked a police officer outside the Houses of Parliament.
