When and where are the Donald Trump protests in the UK TODAY?
TENS of thousands of anti-Trump protesters will take to the streets of London and other major cities in the UK today. Here is what you need to know.
When and where is the Donald Trump protest in the UK in February 2017?
The national day of action coincides with a parliamentary debate over whether Donald Trump’s state visit to the UK should go ahead.
More than 1,850,000 people have signed a petition calling for the state visit to be cancelled because it would “embarrass” the Queen.
Parliament is set to debate the petition today (Monday February 20) even though the Government has already rejected the petition’s demand.
At the same time, anti-Trump protesters will gather in dozens of cities across the UK including Edinburgh, Manchester, Cambridge and Swansea.

The Stop Trump Coalition has organised the protests in collaboration with the One Day Without Us: UK National Protest by migrants in Britain.
The coalition said: “We are calling for a nationwide day of action to stand up and say no to the future of hatred, racism and division that Donald Trump is trying to create.”
Protesters will also “say no to the disgraceful complicity of Theresa May and the British government in supporting him.”
Theresa May invited Mr Trump to UK during a visit to the US. Just days later, he announced a travel ban on citizens from seven predominantly Muslim countries.

In response to petition, the Government said: “We look forward to welcoming President Trump once dates and arrangements are finalised.
“This invitation reflects the importance of the relationship between the United States of America and the United Kingdom.”
One Day Without Us organisers said: “We are inviting migrants from inside and outside the European Union, and everyone who supports them, to celebrate the contribution that migrants make.”
The Stop Trump Coalition has a map of all the protests on its website.
