A MOTHER has released shocking pictures of her 16-year-old son who suffered a smashed skull when he was battered by two young boys outside a school.
Mr Kendrew was left with a badly broken nose
Bradley Kendrew was left with a badly broken nose and a fractured skull when he was set upon by two young yobs as he waited to meet his girlfriend.
The thugs, one aged around 11 and the other 12, pulled Bradley off his mountain bike and stamped on his head repeatedly “like a football” before stealing his rucksack.
On 2pm last Thursday the teenager was left for dead after the attack, which took place outside Weston Favell Academy, in Northampton.

His clothes were covered in blood
His mother Nikki Young, 44, has released graphic pictures of Bradley's bloodied face in a bid to catch the attackers.
Mrs Young, an air rifle instructor from Northampton, said: “His clothes were covered in blood. He rang me and said he thought he had a broken nose.
Mrs Young tried to ask where he was so she could get him.

She continued: “These two boys just turned on him for no reason. They pulled him off his bike and stamped on his head. They were kicking his head like a football.
Mrs Young said: “He now asks 'mum can you take me here, mum can you take me there'. He is reluctant to go out.”
Bradley now faces a series of operations to re-set his nose and might need metal plates in his skull.

He said: “One of the boys and we made eye contact.
“He walked off and at one point I was behind him. I was going backwards and forwards on my bike when I got to the end of the path.
“I turned around and went back. He kept looking at me, and then I carried on biking around.
“A couple of minutes later he came back with an older boy. He pulled me off my bike and started punching and kicking me.
Passers by dialled 999
“They shouted, 'what we going to do to him' or something like that. I was shocked.”
Passers-by dialled 999 and Bradley was rushed to Northampton General Hospital where he was kept in overnight,
Northamptonshire Police are hunting the thugs.
A spokesman said: “Both offenders were white and one had ginger/blond hair. They were both possibly wearing tracksuits.”
