Urgent search for woman and two girls who vanished from seaside town in their pyjamas

Devon and Cornwall Police have launched an urgent search for Shera-Lea Wenman, 28, and two seven-year-old girls.

A woman and two children have been reported missing this morning, with concerned police stating they are all believed to be dressed in their nightwear.

Shera-Lea Wenman, 28, was last spotted with two children - Darcey and Natalia, both aged seven – at approximately 11.30pm yesterday (Friday, March 27) near Hendra Holiday Park just outside Newquay, Cornwall.

Devon and Cornwall Police have issued photographs of all three alongside an urgent appeal. They confirmed all three were wearing pyjamas but have provided no additional details about their clothing.

They stated they were particularly concerned about the welfare of Shera-Lea. Hendra Holiday Park is a large family resort off the A392 on the outskirts of Newquay.

A police statement said: "We are concerned for the welfare of Shera-Lea Wenman, aged 28.", reports the Mirror.

"Shera-Lea was last seen with two children - Darcey and Natalia, both aged 7 - at around 11:30pm on Friday March 2026 near Hendra Tourist park in Newquay. They are all wearing pyjamas.

"If you have seen Shera-Lee, Darcey or Natalia, or have information that may help us to find them, please call police immediately on 999, quoting log 899 of 27/03/26."
