ThamesLink trains cancelled between Luton and Bedford after person hit by train
A person has been hit by a train on the ThamesLink line between Bedford and Luton, causing all lines to be blocked.
All trains have been suspended on a Thameslink service line after a person was struck by a train.
Services ground to a halt between St Albans City and Bedford following the incident on Wednesday, 13 May.
Thameslink has warned that disruption is anticipated to continue until 5am as emergency services attend the scene.
Passengers should be aware that trains may face cancellations, delays of up to 60 minutes, or revised timetabling.
A spokesperson for Thameslink said: "It is with great sadness to report someone has been hit by a train between Luton and Bedford."

"All lines between these stations are now blocked until further notice.
"If your train is delayed between stations, please stay on board and listen for updates.
"You can also ask staff if you need more information.
"We know where you are and are working to get you moving as soon as possible.
"For your safety, please don't leave the train unless instructed.
"Other trains may still be running, and the tracks can be very dangerous."
The rail operator confirmed it is working alongside Network Rail and the emergency services to handle the incident as sensitively, swiftly and safely as possible.
Passengers may use their Thameslink ticket at no additional cost on London Buses Night Bus routes, where available, between Elstree and Borehamwood, Central London, Croydon and Purley.
Tickets are also valid on London Northwestern Railway services running between Milton Keynes Central and London Euston, as well as early-morning Thameslink and Great Northern services linking Peterborough, Hitchin, Stevenage and London Kings Cross.
