British tourist, 62, drowns in front of partner at popular holiday resort in Majorca
The 62-year-old was pulled from the water but emergency responders were unable to revive him.

A British tourist has drowned in front of his partner in Majorca.
The man was taken from the sea by lifeguards who spent almost an hour attempting to revive him on the sand, before his death was sadly confirmed.
Events unfolded at Puerto Pollensa, a popular holiday resort in the northeast of Majorca, a popular hotspot with British tourists.
Local reports say the authorities were alerted at approximately 3.30pm local time on Thursday.
According to those close to the scene, the deceased's partner alerted the authorities.

One witness said: "She saw him floating in the water after he went for a swim.
"Lifeguards pulled him out of the water and tried to revive him before emergency responders took over when they arrived."
The man has so far not been named.
An investigation into the man's death will now be investigated, with a local judge ordering it to begin immediately.

Puerto Pollensa is a favourite holiday destination with British tourists.
Among its notable visitors include former British Prime Minister David Cameron, and road and track cycling legend Bradley Wiggins.
It comes months after a British man drowned in front of his teenage son in Tenerife.
In April, the unnamed 58-year-old was pulled from the sea by two people, including a nurse, who performed CPR on the man.
He went into cardiac arrest while they waited for the emergency services to arrive.
Despite the efforts of emergency responders, they were unable to revive the man.
Last month, another Briton was sadly pronounced dead - this time a toddler who had been swimming in a villa pool in Nuria, near Benidorm.
The 19-month-old's mother was reportedly at the property with three of the toddler's younger siblings when the incident happened.
