Staffordshire bull terrier and baby cow become best friends
The dog was rescued from a kill shelter seven years ago and has become a social media sensation for her unusual friendship with Elsie the heifer. The adorable duo have gone viral on TikTok after user @do.the.scarn shared a video of the pair sharing a kiss.
Everything about the 16 second clip has been melting hearts, from the gentle dog letting the calf lick her face, to the cow’s little pink sun hat.
Other dogs can be seen playing on the farm, but Elsie the heifer only has eyes for Momma.
The TikToker saved the Staffy from being put to sleep with her five puppies, and ended up keeping her.

She said: “Momma came to me and I fostered her and her five puppies several years back. “They were all at Memphis animal control, in Tennessee, and they were all going to be put down that day ‑ her and her five iddy biddy little babies.
“So one of the shelters I worked with volunteered to get all of them and I housed them until all the puppies got adopted and Momma I decided to keep.
“She was my very first foster fail, so now she’s been a part of the pack for about seven years.”
The pack, which also includes horses, pigs, dalmatians and golden retrievers, live on a farm where the account documents their every day antics.
But it’s the sweet relationship between Momma and Elsie that people just can’t get enough of.
The video racked up over 7,600 comments of people swooning over the “grass puppy and land seal”.
One commenter said: “The romance you didn’t know you needed to see this morning.”
Another said: “This is how I want to start my morning every day.”
