‘He may have information’ Man pictured with blue lights from POLICE CAR in appeal
POLICE are launching an appeal to find a man who stole blue siren lights from a police car.
The incident happened in the early hours of Boxing Day outside a train station in Sunderland. British Transport Police released CCTV photos which show a man walking with the siren lights on his shoulder. A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: “Officers believe the man shown in these CCTV images may have information which could help.”
A considerable amount of people took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the pictures released by the police.
One user said: “He could just be accessorising his outfit?”.
@HennersOliver said: “A very proper way of saying ‘can we have our lights back please mate.”
Another user said: “Officers believe the man shown int these CCTV imaged may have information which could help.
“With stunning detective work like that it’s a wonder we have any crime at all.”
Other comments included: “Do you know this is joker? Bet he got a surprise when he woke next to a blue light.”
