BGT's Matisse SHOULD be on Royal Variety despite misleading public, says Amanda Holden
BRITAIN’S Got Talent winner Matisse’s stunt double dog SHOULD take part in the Royal Variety Show, Amanda Holden said yesterday.
Matisse and Jules O'Dwyer won the 2015 final of Britain's Got Talent
Her comments will spark fresh debate over the controversy which rocked the BGT final.
Simon Cowell said he was ‘disappointed’ after viewers were hoodwinked into believing Matisse had walked a tightrope during the act - when it was actually a different dog named Skippy.
He ordered an investigation into why producers didn’t tell him, claiming none of the judging panel knew about Skippy.
Jules O'Dwyer and Matisse have received threats from internet trolls after they won the final
I think she should use them all on the Royal Variety Show
Matisse’s owner Jules O’Dwyer faced calls to be stripped of her BGT crown and was subjected to abuse by Twitter trolls.
But now BGT judge Amanda Holden has said Skippy should appear in the Royal Variety Show - which is one of the prizes for the BGT winner.
In an interview with new! magazine, Amanda said: “She (Jules) still had to train the dog (Skippy), didn’t she? I think she should use them all on the Royal Variety Show.” ends
