The 81-year-old has spoken out about the controversial Swiss hospital, agreeing with the assisted suicide clinic.
Speaking to The Mirror about Alzheimer’s, a disease her husband Percy's mother suffers with, Joan said "you have to enjoy life".
She added: "So if I was in that situation, I don’t know what I would do. It would depend on how bad it is. But I agree with Dignitas, totally."
Speaking about Percy's mother, she said: "You don’t want to live like that... It is far better to drift off slowly.

"I have so many children, so many grandchildren, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, such a big family, and I wouldn’t want to inflict that on them."
She added: "I mean, they don’t let animals carry on suffering – so why let humans live?"
Being open and honest with fans is nothing new to Joan who is celebrated all over the world for her straight-talking style.

And the British beauty was made a dame by Her Royal Highness The Queen on her New Years Honours list this year.
Joan was awarded an OBE for services to acting and was recognised for her philanthropic work with children's hospice charity Shooting Star Chase.
Tweeting about the title yesterday, Joan said: "Only 20 more days before Being made a dame at my investiture At Buckingham palace, I can't wait!"
