A Highland hottie: David Tennant dons a kilt for What We Did On Our Holiday premiere
HE'S ONE of the nation's most loved actors and David Tennant certainly excited the ladies last night.
At the premiere of his latest movie - What We Did On Our Holiday - the Scottish actor proudly posed for pictures wearing a traditional kilt.
Parading his legs with pride, David looked ruggedly handsome with his new-found facial hair and untamed locks.
Speaking about his Scottish heritage, David told the Radio Times yesterday: "I'm very happy that Scotland conducted itself with as much democratic dignity as it did.
"I'm very proud of the homeland."
Posing with his co-star Rosamund Pike - who's baby bump was concealed under a black frock - the pair looked proud of their roles in the up-coming movie, which also stars comedian Billy Connolly.
The comedy movie sees Rosamund and David play a couple who attempt to work through their marital problems with a trip north of the English border for Billy Connolly's character Gordy McLeod's birthday.
Comedian turned actor Billy, 71, was also on the red carpet looking dapper in a brown suit and pocket square.
Speaking about the movie, Rosamund - who is pregnant with her second child - told Digital Spy she was pleased with the theme of the movie.
She said: "I like the fact it's a film where the adults are behaving very badly and the children are behaving like grown-ups.
"I found that funny and I found that truthful."
What We Did On Our Holiday is officially released in cinemas on 26 September.
