Meghan’s day with Dukes
THE Duchess of Sussex watched her husband and brother-in-law play a star-studded charity polo match yesterday.
Meghan Markle arrives at Prince Harry's polo game
As Dukes Harry and William charged up and down the field in the annual Audi Polo Challenge Meghan was reunited with her close friend Serena Williams, in the UK for Wimbledon.
Dressed in a long flowing sleeveless dress and a straw hat, Meghan, 36, shielded herself from 89F (32C) heat for the event at Coworth Park in Ascot.
It is the second time the former US actress has attended the display of riding skills, a social highlight of the season in which spectators sip champagne and enjoy afternoon tea before dinner and dancing into the night.
Last year, all eyes were on the Suits star as she was photographed kissing her then boyfriend Harry, just a few months before the couple announced their engagement last November.
Father of three William, 36, looked raring to go despite returning from a tour of Israel and Palestine just hours earlier, displaying some brotherly rivalry on the turf.
Harry, 33, also played polo on Friday, raising £200,000 for the Royal Foundation and Sentebale, two charities of which he is patron.
A beaming Meghan bent down to speak to a girl and played a ball game.
She was unfazed by reports she is to cut off ties with her father Thomas Markle after he gave an interview to Good Morning Britain without her permission claiming that she was keen to start a family.
