Princess Diana 20th anniversary: William and Harry to give out new award in her memory
THE Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry will mark the 20th anniversary of their mother's death by giving a new award to 20 young people from across the world who embody her qualities.

Princes Wiliam and Harry will present the inaugural Legacy Award on behalf of the Diana Award, the charity set up in memory of the late Princess of Wales, in a ceremony at St James's Palace on May 18 to the 20 winners honoured for their qualities of kindness, compassion and service.

"Twenty years on, we are delighted that both her sons - The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry - will be presenting this unique and prestigious Legacy Award to our future leaders at St James's Palace in London on May 18."
The charity aims to foster the belief that young people have the power to change the world
The Diana Award charity, which aims to foster the late Princess's belief that young people have the power to change the world, was established in 1999 by a board chaired by the then Chancellor, Gordon Brown.
The award itself has been presented to thousands of young people recognised for their inspirational work helping others.
