Royals hot to trot at Ascot Christmas meet
The Earl and Countess of Wessex had a Royal day out at the races yesterday, accompanied by their children Viscount James and Lady Louise.

The family took in the action at Ascot, where they watched from a box and took a walk around the paddock.
The group were dressed to the tens, with both parents and children sharply attired for the special Christmas meet.

Sophie of Wessex looked stylish in a beige coat and matching silk scarf, complemented by spherical earrings.

Prince Edward, the Queen's son, wore a double-breasted brown pinstripe suit, along with a handkerchief, tie and brown shoes.

The pair's children also looked immaculate, with 8-year-old Viscount James Severn looking particularly grown up in a dark grey jacket, die and brown chinos.

His older sister, 12-year-old Lady Louise, was also looking smart in a blue jacket with a velvet lapel.
The 12-year-old loves horse racing, and has ridden with her grandmother the Queen since she was small.
