A royal expert has said Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor should have his passport taken off him so he doesn’t leave the UK as scandals surrounding his previous friendship with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein continue. Just this week, more emails were released from Epstein’s estate that mention Andrew, including what appears to be a confession by the late paedophile that a picture of Andrew was in fact taken with Virginia Giuffre - the woman who accused the former prince of sleeping with her three times when she was just 17.

This is despite the fact Andrew had previously claimed in his car crash 2019 BBC Newsnight interview that he does not recall such a photograph being taken, and does not recall ever meeting Giuffre. He has always denied any accusations against him.

While these newly released emails are simply adding onto the pile of scandals that Andrew has already found himself involved in, and what ultimately led to King Charles stripping his brother of his royal titles, a royal expert believes it is time to take Andrew’s passport away.

This is because with his eviction from Royal Lodge upcoming, there are rumours that the former Duke of York could go overseas, with one option being to a villa reportedly made available to Andrew on the Abu Dhabi royal family's fortified estate.

Speaking to The Mirror, Andrew Lownie, the author of the biography 'Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York', said: “'This new information dump is the nail in the coffin for Prince Andrew, highlighting the lies he has told about his association with Jeffrey Epstein.

“There is still much more to emerge but there can be no doubt now about how deeply involved [he was] with the convicted paedophile. Andrew needs to be investigated and as a flight risk and his passport should be surrendered.”

Since being stripped of his royal titles, the former prince has been keeping a low profile at Royal Lodge.

However, it is believed he will be required to leave the 30-room home by the end of January, with Buckingham Palace having previously confirmed that he will move to a property on his brother King Charles’ private Sandringham estate.

He is expected to make very few, if any, public appearances with The Royal Family ever again.

It is believed Andrew has been asked to appear before the US Congress for questioning over his links to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, however it is not yet known if the former prince will do this.
