Prince Harry is seen to be acting "like Meghan Markle's personal bodyguard", according to a body language expert. The 41-year-old and his wife were pictured arriving hand-in-hand at Kris Jenner's 007-themed 70th birthday party in Beverly Hills on November 8.

The couple, who reside in California with their children, were both dressed in black outfits, perfectly suited for the James Bond theme. According to body language expert Judi James, Harry appears to have adapted to a new protective role, as evident in the latest pictures.

Arriving at Jeff Bezos's multi-million-pound mansion, where the glamorous event took place, Harry looked extremely protective of his wife as he walked slightly in front of her.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Ms James said: "In star terms, this reflects her return to the big screen as an actress, while he seems to be back in 'Spare' mode here."

She also likened Harry's body language as being similar to that of Taylor Swift's fiancé Travis Kelce.

Ms James added: "Harry's expressionless mode directs the attention to his wife here, although his ritual is one favored by the likes of Travis Kelce, with the outstretched arm held behind and away from his torso to suggest muscle power, and with his hand gripped around Meghan's in a similar 'Big Paw' Travis grasp that speaks of a desire to protect as they go past the press."

Noting Meghan's body language, she added that the mum-of-two appeared to know that she was a "big star" in attendance at the event.

Ms James added: "There are several rankings of A-list body language behaviour on arrival at a venue or party, and they vary between the Kim Kardashian 'Solo Goddess' camera-friendly look to an Adele 'hiding my face with my bag' pose that suggests she's too cool and famous to need the publicity...

"But Meghan also performs a smile of utter delight here. Her cheeks are rounded, and her lips are hiked up high at the corners to create a symmetric shape.

"A smile like this will be an acknowledgement to the fans and the cameras, but without any posing effort or showboating."
