Royal Family RECAP: Prince Harry and Meghan 'negotiations' underway in boost to King
Prince Harry is said to have 'serious reservations' over schools in the US.

The Duke of Sussex is said to be pushing to send his two children to school in the UK. According to reports, Prince Harry has 'serious reservations' over American schools and wants Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, to be educated in Britain.
A friend of the Duke told the Daily Mail there is "still some negotation for Harry to have with Meghan" over their children's schooling, with suggestions the Duchess is not a fan of the idea of boarding schools. Archie and Lilibet's young age means attending boarding school across the pond is unlikely in the short-term, it is believed. However, the King is said to be "delighted" by the idea of his grandchildren being educated in the UK.

Prince Andrew skewered over behaviour at funeral: 'Distinct chill'
Prince Andrew's appearance alongside other members of the Royal Family this week at the funeral of the Duchess of Kent did not leave a positive impression on the public.
The King, the Prince and Princess of Wales and other members of the Firm joined the Duchess's family on Tuesday for a Catholic funeral at Westminster Cathedral in London.
But it was the Duke of York's appearance that raised eyebrows as he showed up with his former wife, Sarah Ferguson, and they stood next to the rest of the royals outside the church.

'Prince Andrew is an a** – he and Fergie should keep their heads down'
COMMENT: "What in God’s name were Prince Andrew and Fergie doing at the Duchess of Kent’s funeral?
"It was unutterably selfish of them to be there because Andrew must have known the story would immediately become about him, not the much-loved Duchess.
"His presence made the whole royal family look uncomfortable, with the exception of Prince William, who looked furious – especially when Andrew shuffled alongside him to be photographed. "

Queen Camilla cracks hilarious joke during major appearance days after illness
Queen Camilla proved she is just like everyone else today as she joked about the famous scene of Colin Firth emerging soaking wet from a lake in the BBC’s Pride and Prejudice.
Teasing her host, William Burlington, she was met with laughter as she joked: “Maybe, William, you could be persuaded to re-enact this memorable moment in the lake here a little later on – to add to the excitement of the day?!”
Although fighting against a croaky throat after she was diagnosed with acute sinusitis and undertook a busy number of appearances for Donald Trump’s state visit, the Queen was clearly in her element as she took to the stage at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire to celebrate her beloved Reading Room charity kicking off its third annual festival.

Prince Harry suffers 'pangs of exile’ as Trump snubs him in state visit speech

The US President was hosted by King Charles, 76, and Queen Camilla, 78, at Windsor Castle earlier this week for a state visit.
While Trump is known to be a massive fan of the Royal Family, it is believed he dislikes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who quit royal life in 2020 and moved to America, where they then spent years criticising the monarchy.
This dislike was hinted at during the president’s speech on Wednesday at the state banquet.

Trump's secret service 'had furious row with King Charles's chefs' before state banquet
Donald Trump's Secret Service personnel had a "heated" row with King Charles's kitchen staff before the state banquet, sources have reportedly claimed. The US President was wined and dined in spectacular style at Windsor Castle on Wednesday, where both the monarch and Mr Trump hailed the UK-US special relationship.
But below stairs, relations reportedly took a turn for the worse when members of Mr Trump's Secret Service team entered the Castle kitchen to oversee the culinary preparations. Tempers are said to have frayed with a source claiming chefs "grew frustrated" as agents kept checking and even sampled the food.

Prince William's plans to 'freeze out' Prince Andrew 'clearer than ever'
Prince William seems to be as determined as ever to keep Prince Andrew out of the royal fold. On Tuesday, the Prince of Wales, 43, was photographed with his disgraced uncle outside Westminster Cathedral following the funeral of the late Duchess of Kent.
While Andrew seemed keen to engage in conversation with his nephew, his attempts to speak to William appeared unsuccessful, with William trying to avoid any interaction with him. This is despite the fact they were standing side by side as they waited for their cars to depart from the funeral.

'Needy' Meghan Markle skewered by expert: 'The irony is obvious'
Meghan Markle has been dubbed “needy” by an expert after posting a photograph of herself in her Montecito garden as the US state visit in the UK was underway. The Duchess of Sussex, 44, took to her As Ever Instagram account with a photograph of herself tending to the strawberries on her Montecito estate.
She captioned the post: “Seasons shift, but the garden stays magic.” While the duchess has posted content like this on her brand Instagram account before, one royal expert believes the timing of this post shows how “needy” Meghan is.
This is because many believe Meghan posts on her social media accounts when royal events happen in an attempt to take the spotlight.

Trump said: “I just want to say that His Majesty has also raised a remarkable son in His Royal Highness, Prince of Wales. Really amazing. We've gotten to know you and I think you're going to have an unbelievable success in future.”

Prince William appeared to be in his element this week as he launched the Royal Family's charm offensive for Donald Trump's second state visit to the UK. The Prince of Wales, joined by his wife, the Princess of Wales, was the first to greet the US President as he began his two-day visit, hosted in Windsor this time.
William greeted Mr Trump and his wife, Melania, as their helicopter touched down at Windsor, before attending their ceremonial welcome at Windsor Castle. He and Princess Kate even had a private lunch with the American couple before joining them at the glittering state banquet on Wednesday evening.
