Queen Sonja of Norway has returned to official duties after a sudden and unexpected hospitalisation last month. The Queen, 87, was spotted on a royal outing last week as she attended the opening of a ceramics exhibition on Friday.
The exhibition had been put together by graduates of the Oslo National Academy of Arts. The Queen looked well during her trip to the exhibition, wearing a multicoloured jumper and a pair of sleek trousers.
She was given a tour of the exhibition as she took in the artworks, and was so impressed she even took photographs of the art on her mobile phone.

The royal engagement comes after she was admitted to hospital last month on Easter Monday after struggling with shortness of breath.
She was flown to the National Hospital in Oslo by a medical helicopter from the royal chalet in Sikkilsalen.
This came after another hospitalisation in January, when Queen Sonja suffered from atrial fibrillation during a skiing trip.
Her Majesty was discharged the following day and had a pacemaker inserted just days later, with this being described as a successful procedure.
