Meghan Markle announced as keynote speaker at major celebrity event next week
The Duchess of Sussex is set to make the appearance in just a few days time.

Meghan Markle is set to make an appearance at a huge event in just a few days time as she will join a number of famous faces and speak at the TIME100 Summit on April 23 in New York. Alongside celebrities like Demi Moore and Ryan Reynolds, the Duchess will join "world's most influential people" and appear as a keynote speaker, although she has not been named among 2025's TIME100 list.
The website states: "The fifth-annual TIME100 Summit will feature leaders from the global TIME community to spotlight solutions and encourage action toward a better world. Speakers for the day-long event include: Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and founder of As Ever, actor and producer." The announcement coincides with the release of the 2025 Time100 list, which includes tennis player Serena Williams, singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and mass rape survivor Gisele Pelicot.

Donald Trump is on the list for the 7th time, and is joined by other political figures including Elon Musk, J.D Vance and Keir Starmer.
TIME Chief Executive Officer Jessica Sibley said: "The 2025 TIME100 list of the world's most influential people recognizes the leaders shaping the world today and defining its future.
"We look forward to bringing together the newest members of this extraordinary community at the annual TIME100 Summit and TIME100 Gala with our incredible partners."
The Time100 Summit is a day-long event and other speakers will include Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director-general of the World Health Organization, US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and co-CEO of Netflix Ted Sarandos.
The summit will be followed by a special gala event on April 24, which will air on ABC on May 4.

The update about Meghan's exciting next appearance comes after she released the second episode of her Confessions of a Female Founder podcast on Tuesday morning and opened up about how she coped after she suffered a miscarriage.
Meghan opened up on the subject as she was joined by Indian American lawyer and politician Reshma Saujani, founder of the non-profit 'Girls Who Code'.
