King Charles and Queen Camilla's unique sleeping arrangements revealed
A former staff member has shared an insight into the King and Queen Camilla's relationship.

King Charles and Queen Camilla have been married near enough two decades, and it seems that the royal couple are as happy as can be. While they have had a tough 12 months since the King’s cancer diagnosis, it is clear that both Charles, 76, and Camilla, 77, are besotted with one another.
However, while many may think this is because they have a lot of time together, it seems that it may in fact be their unique sleeping and home arrangements that keep their relationship strong. Although they do spend a lot of time together, a gardener who worked at one of the King’s royal residences said that Their Majesties also spend a healthy amount of time apart. Jack Stooks, who worked as a senior gardener at Highgrove for King Charles for over two decades, told JeffBet that this time apart often happens when they opt to spend time at different residences.

While the King often splits his time between Clarence House in London and Highgrove House, Queen Camilla is known to enjoy going back to her Wiltshire Ray Mill House, which has always been her own privately-owned home.
It is here where Camilla enjoys putting her feet up and having some time away from the hustle and bustle of royal life.
Jack said: “Before Charles and Camilla got married, they agreed Camilla would keep her home. The separate space was important for them both and their families.
“For Camilla, her Wiltshire house had so many memories of raising her family. It's somewhere she can retreat and escape royal life if she needs to. It's somewhere she can go with her family and have a laid-back weekend without prying eyes.”

The former royal gardener continued: “Charles enjoys time alone and he's got a very strong work ethic. He's been known to work at his desk into the early hours.
“Camilla, meanwhile, has a lot of friends and is close to her family. They're both independent people and don't mind time apart.
“The fact they don't live in each other's pockets is one of the many reasons their marriage works. They enjoy their time together and the time apart.”
While the royal couple do sometimes opt to spend weekends apart, it is clear just how much they enjoy and value their time together, which is often spent at Clarence House, Sandringham, Balmoral, or Highgrove.
