King Charles has been urged to get "spiritual advice" in order to fix the bitter rift with his son, Prince Harry.

The Duke of Sussex, who now lives in California with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children, has been at loggerheads with the Royal Family for some time.

The relationship between the royals and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex became further strained following the couple's decision to do a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfey in 2021.

Deepak Chopra, am Indian-American alternative medicine practitioner who Meghan regards as her ‘spiritual guru’, said the King is a key figure to heal the rift. He told Richard Eden in his column 'Eden Confidential': "It would help if there were close alliances between the royals and spiritual help."

He added: "I’ll be glad if [the King] did get spiritual advice to solve the problems between him and Harry."

Harry is said to still have some relationship with his father - but does not speak to Prince William.

The duke is thought to have last seen his father in person last February. This was during a visit to the UK following news of the King's cancer diagnosis.

Speaking of Harry and Meghan's two children, Prince Archie, five, and three-year-old Princess Lilibet, one royal expert claims that they have "no relationship" with their paternal grandfather.

The insider told the Daily Mail: "The fact is that Harry and Meghan are a source of strain and worry for His Majesty."

They added: "While he is sorry that he does not have a relationship with his grandchildren in America, it is easier for his peace of mind that there’s an ocean between him and Harry."
