Harry and Meghan: Oprah interview was 'a disaster' says Palmer

Meghan Markle's intentions behind the delay of her lifestyle series on Netflix due to the raging wildfires in Los Angeles came into question by royal courtiers, who compared the move to the Sussexes' previous actions against the royals.

The Duchess of Sussex released a statement earlier this week to announce the postponement of With Love, Meghan, which was due to be released last Wednesday, January 15. The series will now air on March 4. Meghan's statement said: "I'm thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California."

Meanwhile, People magazine claimed the duchess "didn't think twice" about postponing her show" as it cited an insider saying it was an "easy decision" for her because she has "genuine concern" for her hometown and those affected.

But the Mail's Richard Eden reported that royal sources made "wry remarks" about Meghan's intentions as the Sussexes previously allowed their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, Netflix docuseries and Harry's explosive memoir to go ahead with the release, despite it being a challenging time for the royals, like Prince Phillip's hospitalisation in 2021 and Queen Elizabeth's declining health in 2022.

A royal source told the outlet: "Meghan seemingly didn't think twice about going ahead with the Oprah interview, did she?" Mr Eden added: "Let's not forget how deeply the interview with America's chat show queen must have wounded the Royal Family. It's not hard to see why some close to the Royal Family would treat Meghan's concern for the feelings of others with profound scepticism."

Meghan Markle issued warning about Netflix show as royal expert spots key flaw

Meghan Markle has been criticised for trying to "fit in somehow by playing a very dated housewifey role" with her new Netflix show, in a move which was dubbed "odd and disempowering" by a royal commentator.

The Duchess of Sussex stars in a new lifestyle series on Netflix titled With Love, Meghan, which is to be released on March 4.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reach new level of delusion in online post

I am only surprised that, in trigger-happy America, orders have not gone out to the National Guard in deserted, fire-threatened LA neighbourhoods to shoot looters dead on sight. Perhaps that might even have happened by the time you read this.

There have been unconfirmed reports of looters dressed up as firemen ransacking abandoned houses, apartments and shops. While not remotely condoning gun law, I can’t imagine there’d be many tears shed for anyone dropped by a guardsman’s bullet mid-pillage.

There have been surprises amidst the flames and smoke. Not least Harry and Meghan’s response. At first, I thought that their delusional qualities had pushed new boundaries. Safe from the fires ravaging Los Angeles, miles from their 16-bed Montecito mansion, the couple felt obliged to post a public message. As statements of the obvious went, it was hard to beat.

Princess Kate stepped out in London on Tuesday for a surprise visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea, where she spoke to patients and staff and even gave small glimpses of her own struggle with the illness.

The incredible £50k private school that Prince George, Charlotte and Louis could attend

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are close-knit siblings, with this likely to have strengthened after spending the last two years attending the same school together.

After spending their weekdays at Lambrook School, just a short drive from the Windsor cottage where they live with parents Prince William and Princess Kate, George, 11, Charlotte, nine, and Louis, six, spend their evenings and weekends at home as a family unit.

However, this family dynamic is soon set to change as within the next few years George will move on to another school as he approaches his teenage years, with this most likely set to be a boarding school.

Prince Harry and Meghan blasted for being 'more out of touch than ever' after latest move

Prince Harry and Meghan Marke's "melodramatic" and full of "liberal clichés" statement against Meta has allegedly shown they are "now even more out of touch than ever", according to a royal commentator.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a powerful statement earlier this week in which they criticised Meta's latest decision to axe fact-checking, saying it "knowingly puts everyone in harm’s way".

Harry and Meghan urged the company, which owns Facebook and Instagram, to prioritise public safety and put an end to the growing hate speech on its platforms.

They also criticised the social media giant for responding to "political winds" and "abandon(ing) public safety in favour of profit, chaos, and control".

But the Telegraph's columnist Michael Deacon labelled the statement a "631-word whine" in which the Sussexes resorted to "all manner of shriekingly melodramatic liberal clichés" by using phrases such as "normalising hate speech", sowing "division", undermining "diversity and equity", endangering "marginalised communities", and even "destroying democracy".
