The 42-year-old royal has been pictured many times in red items of clothing, including favoured Alexander McQueen pieces as well as one scarlet LK Bennet coat that screams style and luxury.
But the cosy number will set shoppers back around £599 at Selfridges and presumably most people don't want to fork out fees that could be used to cover rent on one item of clothing.

But understandably, you may want something that takes inspiration from Princess Kate but is dramatically cheaper. Pull & Bear has a Long felt texture coat in red for £59.99 which is pretty close to the princess's look.
Meanwhile Bonmarche is selling a Long Faux Wool Funnel Neck Coat in red for £45.00.
Dorothy Perkins is also selling a similar Curve Longline Belted Coat, on sale from £90 to £58.50 but it doesn't come in red, though it is available in purple, another colour the Princess of Wales has been spotted in.
