King Charles’s major fear about meeting Prince Harry laid bare
Prince Harry met his father King Charles in London earlier this month - which is said to have been their first meeting in 15 months.
King Charles is said to have had one major fear upon meeting his youngest son, Prince Harry on February 6.
The Duke of Sussex rushed over to the UK to meet with his father just hours after it was publicly revealed that the monarch had been diagnosed with "a form of cancer".
According to an insider, Harry was "expecting to go to Sandringham [instead of Clarence House]."
Despite Harry's reported wishes to spend more time with the monarch, he was only granted a 30-minute time slot.
The Sun reported that Harry was "instructed to visit Clarence House, his dad's London home, for a short managed face-to-face meeting - and then told to get himself a hotel for the night."
Speaking to the publication about Harry's visit, the insider said: "The fear was that if he went to Sandringham they would never get rid of him."
Soon after leaving Clarence House, Harry made his way back to an unknown five-star London hotel.
Just one day after arriving in the UK, Harry was spotted back at Heathrow Airport to return to his wife Meghan Markle who remained in California with their two children, Archie, four, and Lilibet, two.
Less than a fortnight after his very short trip to the UK, Harry gave an interview to Good Morning America.
In this interview, Harry touched on his trip, fatherhood and his life in the US with Meghan.
Speaking to the American network, although staying loyal when giving minimal details about his trip to see his father, Harry said that he felt "grateful" to be able to fly home to see his family.
He also said that he planned to make more trips to the UK soon, adding that he "loves" his family.

Harry did not make time to visit his brother Prince William, who attended the 2024 BAFTAs on Sunday evening, whilst in the UK.
The 39-year-old is said to be keen to visit the UK with Archie and Lilibet, and would reportedly love for them to meet their cousins.
Archie, although born in the UK, has spent very little time with his royal relatives. Unlike her brother, Lilibet was born in America and is said to have only visited the UK once - in 2022.
