Prince Harry needs more than a 25-hour UK trip to repair strained relationships
COMMENT: Prince Harry put tensions to the side as he rushed to visit his father after news of his cancer diagnosis was made public.
Prince Harry's 11-hour flight from LAX arrived at Heathrow Airport on Tuesday afternoon, with the Duke of Sussex rushing to be by his father King Charles III's side.
A "worried" Duke of Sussex learnt that the King had been diagnosed with "a form of cancer" following a private call with his father.
The 39-year-old - who is the King's youngest son - arrived at Clarence House soon after landing in London, with the Duke reportedly agreeing to hold off his visit until Buckingham Palace had made the upsetting news public.
With Harry's relationship with the royals reportedly at an all-time low, the speed at which the former royal planned his visit is likely to fill royal fans and experts with hope that the ongoing feud could soon come to an end.
However, the Duke's visit to the UK only lasted a total of 25 hours and Harry's meeting with the King lasted just 45 minutes - barely enough time for hellos and goodbyes, let alone a serious conversation about how to patch things up.

It remains unknown when Harry last saw his brother and, although the pair have been seen in the same space within the last few years, the two brothers' are not known to have exchanged words for some time.
Harry's visit will likely have been appreciated by his father - who is known to have always "adored" his youngest son - but an extended visit could have made more of an impact to help other relationships.
A longer stay for the whole family, including Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two, would be a fitting setting as King Charles would be delighted to see his grandchildren - who he has rarely seen since they were born.
If the pair have any hope of moving forward mulitple meetings and serious conversations will need to be held - though perhaps once the King is back to full strength.
