Prince William's subtle 'calming down' gesture to help curb Prince Louis's 'impatience'
Prince Louis appeared excited but also impatient during Christmas Day but Prince William calmed him down with 'key' move, according to a body language expert.
Royal family arrive at a Christmas Day service in Sandringham
Prince Louis looked "excited" to launch into his royal Christmas during yesterday's church service in Sandringham, a body language expert has claimed. Prince William and Princess Kate's youngest child made his second Christmas appearance alongside the rest of the Royal Family on Christmas Day at St Mary Magdalene's Church.
The young prince sported a pair of tartan trousers and a navy blue coat.
He was pictured holding his dad's as well as his second cousin Mia Tindall's hands as they all made their way to church on Christmas morning.
However, the five-year-old also appeared to be getting impatient during yesterday's appearance.
But body language expert Judi James claimed dad William was quick to act and calm him down with a key gesture.
The expert told the Mirror: "Louis, like most small children on Christmas morning, looked excited but also impatient.
"Zara’s daughter had been given the job of anchoring his left hand while William held onto his right and even then he looked so excited he was pulling on his dad’s arm to get into the service.
"William placed a cupped hand on the back of Louis’s head in a gesture of affection but also of calming a child down.
