Harry and Meghan interview Emmy nomination slammed by Scott
Speaking to GB News, presenter Helen Scott slammed the royal pair's Emmy nomination as a "kick in the teeth" for the creators across the world who have "slogged their guts out" during the pandemic to carry on their craft. She branded it "annoying" how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been recognised in the Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series category while other creatives have "really worked" with little support throughout the pandemic.
Ms Scott said: “Not even the documentary [Oprah interview], not even your opinion on whether it’s true, whether it’s false.
“There are so many amazing creatives that have slogged their guts out and this is what gets the nomination!
“That is what I think is a kick in the teeth to creatives, to be honest, to hard-working, filmmakers, directors, actors, and actresses that craft!
“Especially after this year with covid with it being so hard for the arts.

He suggested: “There is no two ways around it, it was the most talked-about thing that wasn’t football!
