Camilla explains how Prince Charles stays as fit 'as a mountain goat' in candid interview
PRINCE CHARLES may be pushing into his 70s, but the future King of England shows no sign of slowing down and remains as "fit as a mountain goat", according to Camilla.

The Duchess of Cornwall shared her insights into her husband's health, while appearing on BBC Radio 5's The Emma Barnett Show in July last year. Prince Charles' health became a topic of national concern, after he contracted Covid-19 at the start of the pandemic in March. However, he made a quick recovery, telling Sky News that he had "got away with it quite lightly".
Camilla told her host: "He is probably the fittest man of his age I know.
“He’ll walk and walk and walk.
"He’s like a mountain goat, he leaves everybody miles behind.”
The Duchess revealed that she tried to stay fit during the first lockdown by taking part in virtual Silver Swans ballet classes via video call.
She tried unsuccessfully to get her husband to join in.
“I did not get him doing a plié, but he is a very, very fit man.

"But he is not doing ballet."
The Prince of Wales supplements his walking with a 12-minute Royal Canadian Air Force exercise plan, that he does twice a day.
Known as The 5BX Plan (Five Basic Exercises), the routine exercises the body's core muscles.
It involves stretching, sit-ups, back extensions, push-ups and running on the spot.

Stuart Roberts told the Daily Telegraph that Charles' fitness was a good example of how exercise can help slow down the body's ageing process.
The author of "Get Strong, Get Fit, Get Happy: A Life Manual for 40+" said: "I think one of the main problems with people when they view fitness at any age past 50 is there's this mental block.
“People tend to think that because they're a certain age they just can't do things anymore.
"Unfortunately, if you think like that, your body tends to follow your mind.”
