Mike revealed on his Instagram account he spent a couple of days away from his home in Gloucestershire to play golf with his friend and professional golfer Lee Westwood. The pair spent two days at Close House Golf in Newcastle Upon Tyne, the former England rugby player told his followers.
Sharing a few pictures and clips on Instagram showing their game on the gold course, Mike wrote as a caption: "Fantastic couple of days up @closehousegolf with the man @westwood_lee finish level after [two] days. #rematch! @mizunoeuropegolf."
Close House Golf, which hosted Mike and Lee's game, replied in the comment section saying: "Pleasure as always to have you with us Mike, pleased you enjoyed it.
"See you next time for the rematch!"
Other social media users appreciated the stunning pictures, while one Instagram user warned Mike against challenging Lee.
The user wrote: "That is someone not to bet your watch against! #rematch in Dubai".
This brief trip took place just a few days before Mike and Zara's ninth wedding anniversary.
The couple married at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh in 2011 in front of rugby players and members of the Royal Family.
Among the guests, there were also newlyweds Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William, who had married just a few months earlier at Westminster Abbey.

While Mike and Zara haven't publicly spoken about their plans to celebrate their anniversary, the former England player recently let slip he would like to go on a date with his wife on Thursday night.
Speaking to ITV's Lorraine, Mike said: "Hopefully, we'll be able to do something.
"We'll have to wait and see what we can do and what we're allowed to do.
"It's quite good with the restaurants opening, we might be able to get a date night in, so that will be nice."
Over the past few months, Mike has spoken about his duties in the Tindall household at the height of the pandemic.
The former rugby player revealed he was the one in charge of homeschooling his eldest daughter Mia while Zara tended their horses.
Speaking about the experience, Mike said: “I don’t think any child is a great homeschooler because they definitely listen to other people better than they listen to their parents.
“Mia can be brilliant one minute and then something you’ve seen her do a thousand times she’ll just go ‘I don’t know how to do that’ and then you go ‘well I know you do’, and she’ll just say ‘no I don’t’ and then you get frustrated, and you’re trying not to get frustrated.”
Mia, Mike continued, got accustomed quite easily to be taught by her father rather than a teacher.
He said: “She enjoyed it the first week because it was different being around Mum and Dad all the time.
“But then, ultimately, it’s the same people who are telling her off or telling her what to do and I think then she gets bored of that.”
After school were given the go-ahead to gradually reopen to Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 in June, Mike revealed with a cheeky Instagram post he was quite happy to have dropped off his daughter.
