Princess Charlotte's touching royal gesture to Prince Harry exposed
PRINCESS CHARLOTTE has become something of a trendsetter in her first five years - and the little royal once took some fashion inspiration from her uncle, wearing his 1986 shoes during a royal tour.

Princess Charlotte’s fashion has been moulded in the eye of her stylish mother Kate. Floral dresses, pinafores and colourful blouses have all been features of the recently turned five-year-old's wardrobe.
Last month, the little royal celebrated her fifth birthday in lockdown.
Although not able to celebrate as much as previous years, the Cambridge’s still managed to commemorate Charlotte’s birthday with the public.
To mark the special occasion, Kate posted snaps of Charlotte out delivering homemade care packages to those in need during the pandemic a few weeks before.
The Cambridge’s had ventured out to Norfolk to help the elderly and vulnerable.
Here, Charlotte was dressed in a black and white checked dress with grey tights and black Mary Jane shoes.
Royal watchers revelled at how smart Charlotte looked, almost as much as fans delighted at seeing her wearing what appeared to be a pair of Prince Harry’s old shoes, in 2017.
Eagle-eyed royal watcher @bojanana initially pointed the shoes out, Hello! Magazine reported.
The picture, of Charlotte in Kate’s arms, came during the family’s royal tour of Poland and Germany.

On Charlotte’s feet, a pair of red shoes, slightly scuffed at the front.
A photo of Harry from 1986 was immediately placed alongside Charlotte’s, pointing out the uncanny resemblance.
It is not uncommon for royals to reuse clothing and keep traditional pieces for future generations, reported Hello! Magazine at the time.
Prince George, Charlotte’s older brother, had in fact worn their dad’s clothes.

In 2016’s Trooping the Colour, George was spotted in William’s white shirt and blue shorts – an outfit William wore in 1984.
The children have also worn outfits modelled on their parent's older ones.
For example, at Charlotte’s christening in 2015, George wore red shorts and a red and white shirt.
The look was nearly identical to William’s in 1984, when he met his brother Harry for the first time in hospital.
It is not the first time Charlotte has caught the eye of watchful royal fans, either.
During the same royal tour of Poland and Germany, she hit headlines after having a tantrum on the tarmac of Hamburg airport.
Taking a tumble, Charlotte burst into tears.
It was part of a tour of some helicopters, with little George snapping up the chance to board the H145.
In throwback photographs, Kate and William can be seen trying to reassure the little Charlotte.
Even Prince George stands by to be of assistance.
Charlotte eventually gets up and, after a short period of defiance, boards the helicopter with her brother, appearing to enjoy it.
