Sarah Ferguson launches new YouTube show for children
The Duchess of York and others will read children stories Monday to Saturday at 4pm. Fergie, as Sarah Ferguson is also affectionately known as, has authored a number of children’s books including Budgie the helicopter (which was later made into a TV series), Little Red, Emily’s First Day of School, Matthew and the Bullies as well as Ballerina Rosie.
Sarah revealed she will be reading some of her own stories as well as others during her daily storytime.
Sharing the news on Instagram, the Duchess of York said: “Excited to be launching Storytime with Fergie and Friends on my new @youtube and @facebookapp channels – a traditional children’s storytime every day to help keep them entertained during lockdown.
“I’ll be reading both my own stories and others and asking friends to join in.
“It’s all free and just for fun. There will be a new story posted every weekday at 4pm and a longer storytime on Saturdays.
“I so hope you enjoy them and they give some of you something new to do during this difficult time for everyone.”
Fergie accompanied the post with a picture of her surrounded by soft toys including a unicorn and two dolls.
