Meghan Markle taunted by sister Samantha who vows to reveal 'TRUTH' in tell-all books
MEGHAN Markle’s half-sister has promised to reveal the “truth” about the Duchess of Sussex in two explosive books set for release this year.
Samantha Markle says 'things aren't what they seem' with Meghan
Samantha Markle warned she has a “very big mouth” ahead of the release of her tell-all books titled “In the Shadows of The Duchess”. Ms Markle is publishing the first part in April or May, when Meghan is due to give birth to her first child with Prince Harry, and the second in July.
The 53-year-old told the Daily Star: “You’ve got to read my book to see what things were really like.
“I have a very big mouth and speak my mind – as the world can see – at any cost, even if it makes me unpopular, but I tell the truth even if it makes me unpopular.
“I have never been afraid of the truth because if the truth makes me lose friends then they weren’t friends that I wanted to have anyway.”
Ms Markle - who has repeatedly attacked Meghan since she was not invited to her royal wedding last year - suggested the book would include details about the duchess’s childhood.
She said: “My sister was not raised as an only child that is a PR lie.”
And Ms Markle insisted the book is not a “negative pamphlet” but added that whether it is all positive is “subjective”.
She said: “I have spoken the truth about my feelings but have never been out to hurt my sister.
“Any reasonable person would question what she has done to the entire family and this is not about mud slinging it’s about truth and reality.
“Call it whatever you want but until you read it you have no idea and cannot judge.
“It is an honest, warm and witty and heartfelt memoir. Not a negative pamphlet.
“All positive? Subjective, I suppose, but most intelligent and reasonable people will like it.
“Let’s just say the nasty gossip about her on the internet is negative and by comparison my book is not. People seem to want dirt. My book is not dirt… but it’s not fluff either.”
Thomas Markle pleas for daughter Meghan to 'reach out' to him
Meghan has been at the centre of a very public family row with the Markles after they were not invited to her Windsor wedding.
The former actress’s mother, Doria Ragland, was the only member of her family to attend the big day.
Meghan and Samantha’s father, Thomas Markle, was due to walk the bride down the aisle but he pulled out due to health reasons.
It emerged shortly before the big day that he had staged paparazzi pictures in a bid to improve his media image.
Since then, Mr Markle says he has been "ghosted" by Meghan.
